Born in Ehime, Japan in 1995. Graduated from Musashino Art University and completed the Graduate School of Design at Tokyo University of the Arts.

Yusuke Wakata is an artist and designer working across graphic design, product design, spatial design, and installation. Taking subtle discomforts embedded in cities, bodies, memory, and society as a point of departure, his practice explores not only the making of objects, but also the relationships that emerge between people, cities, and social structures. Through his work, he seeks to create questions for the future.
