多様性をコンセプトとした指輪のデザイン。
多くの人は「肌の色」と聞くと、反射的に各々にとって馴染みのある色を想像してしまうのではないだろうか。しかし実際のところ肌の色は多種多様で、それらは美しいグラデーションとして成り立っている。このプロダクトは、そんな肌の色の美しさをリングに落とし込んだデザインである。指輪を身に着ける中で自分の肌の色は馴染んで消えていき、他の色が目立つようになる。そのような身に着ける行為を通じて、“多様性を持つ”というアイデンティティを纏うことができる。
Why do most people instinctively think of a nuance which is familiar to themselves when they come across the term skin color? In fact, this term consists of multiple nuances which are part of a breathtaking gradation. This product aims to represent such versatile yet singular beauty of skin color. When you put on the ring, it blends into your skin and leaves a nuance which is distinctive compared to the skin color you were familiar with. In other words, diversity becomes wearable.
